“I am practicing to become a superhero. I’ve realised that there’s something in here, in my body, that can transform me. I can’t fly, I can’t run very fast or climb walls… yet. But when that – which is there inside me – is activated, it’s like I feel exactly everything all the time. When I dance, waves ripple across the water, and when I jump, the ground shakes”

When I jump the ground shakes is a dance performance for children aged 6-9 years. Inspired by science fiction, three dancers come together in a playful exploration of how emotions like joy, anger, and empathy can develop into what we call superpowers. More info about BamBam
